Preparation

  • Start by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic. Gather all your ingredients together for a smooth cooking experience.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the turkey breast for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the seared turkey to the slow cooker, then sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic in the same skillet.
  • Pour the chicken broth and soy sauce over the turkey in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle thyme and rosemary over the turkey, then season with freshly ground black pepper.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
