How to Make Zesty Spicy Chicken Fra Diavolo Pasta

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced fresh garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add canned San Marzano tomatoes and red pepper flakes; let the mixture simmer gently.
  • Boil a large pot of salted water, and cook the spaghetti or linguine until al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  • Slice the rested chicken and return it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  • Stir in chopped fresh basil just before serving and generously top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
