Ingredients

For the Pastry

  • 1 package Puff Pastry Store-bought

For the Filling

  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach Baby spinach recommended
  • 1 cup Canned Artichoke Hearts Well-drained
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste

For the Finish

  • 1 egg Egg Wash Mix of egg and water

Instructions

Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté fresh spinach for 3-4 minutes until wilted.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed spinach, drained artichoke hearts, softened cream cheese, freshly grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Roll out the puff pastry into a uniform rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Spread the creamy filling over the puff pastry, leaving a small border.
  • Carefully roll the pastry tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the pieces cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with the egg wash.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
