Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the crust by mixing all-purpose flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold, unsalted butter until crumbly.
  • Combine one beaten egg and chilled water with the flour mixture. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
