Instructions

How to Make Irresistible Savory Asparagus Tart

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Cut in the cold, unsalted butter until the mixture resembles pea-sized crumbs.
  • Gradually mix in ice water, just until the dough holds together. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in grated Parmesan, eggs, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface. Place it in a tart pan and pour in the creamy filling. Arrange the fresh asparagus spears on top.
