Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in a pot over medium heat until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add ground meat, breaking it apart as it browns, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Stir in the chili powder and canned diced tomatoes; let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the broth and add macaroni, gently stirring to combine.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover partially and simmer until pasta is al dente, approximately 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar until melted.
  • Optional: Garnish with fresh cilantro or a dollop of sour cream before serving.
